Earnest Lee Maben, born on March 25, 1953, in Somerville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026. A devoted U.S. Postal Worker, Earnest dedicated many years of his life to serving his community and ensuring that essential services were provided to those around him. His commitment and hard work were admirable, and they left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Earnest also honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force for seven years, where he not only fulfilled his duties but also benefited from military education that shaped his character and work ethic. His time in service further instilled in him the values of integrity and dedication, which he carried with him throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Maben (Mabone) and Dorothy Shaw Maben. Earnest leaves behind a loving family that includes his siblings: Quincy, Hattie, Ramona (Darrell) Cummings, Diane, Shelton (Latarsha), Albert, Steven (Constance), and Gary Maben. Each sibling cherished their bond with Earnest and will remember him fondly for his kindness and strength.
