Geredean Dortch Rivers

Geredean Dortch Rivers, beloved member of the Somerville community and cherished friend to many, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on January 28, 1961, in Somerville, TN, Geredean's life was a testament to love, kindness.

Geredean Rivers daughter of Pearlie Mae Dortch. Wife of Keith "Bogart" Rivers. A former member of Springhill C.M.E. Church. Graduate of Fayette Ware Comprehensive School class of 1979. Was employed as a nurse for Arlington Developmental Center for thirty years.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories Keith Gabriel Rivers her son, two grandchildren, Khristian Rooks and Peyton Glover. A sister Cynthia Dortch, and a brother Timothy (Carol) Dortch.

She had an unwavering commitment to her family and friends, often putting their needs ahead of her own. Geredean's legacy is built upon the countless lives she touched through her generosity and compassionate nature.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Geredean's life at a memorial service to be held at Mabone Funeral Home, located at 1435 Teague Store Rd, Somerville, TN, on January 11, 2026.
