Joe " Chicken" Swift, Jr. 63 years of age died Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Dove Health & Rehabilitation Center, Collierville, Tennessee. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017, 12:00 p.m. at Mabone Funeral Home, LLC Chapel. Interment Macon Road Church of Christ, Somerville, Tennessee. He is survived by three children; Marcus Brown, Macon, Tn., Taquanba Tatum, Somerville, Tn., and Katia Puryear, Moscow, Tn., ; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Kirby, Oakland, Tn., Katherine Kirby, Mason, Tn., Brenda Hayslette, Mason,Tn.,five brothers; Cleveland York, Selmer, Tn., Henry (Evelyn) Lee Kirby, Macon, Tn., and Eddie Kirby, Millington, Tn.,Earl (Ethel) Alexander, Somerville, Tn., and Ray Charles Kirby, Oakland,Tn.
